Why placement matters

Aerogard uses blue + UV light to lure flies, competing light sources can draw insects away.

Correct placement and time on leads to best capture rates.

Get the most out of your Aerogard UV Light Trap

  • Use a clearly visible power outlet in areas where flying insects tend to linger. Such as kitchens, near fruit or food scraps, bins, indoor plants, or bathrooms.
  • Keeping the device in open sight helps ensure insects can detect the light if you cant see the light neither can the flying insects
  • Leaving the device on overnight is especially important because it’s a prime trapping period  and there’s limited competing light to distract insects from the device.

Try to avoid placing the trap:

  • Right beside a door or window where natural light can overpower the device.
  • Close to bright lamps, screens, or other strong light sources that may distract insects from the trap.
  • Behind furniture, curtains, or any objects that could block the light or airflow.
  • Remember if you can’t see the device, neither can flying insects!
